seems it's ';ok'; for men to look gray (distinguished) but not so much for women, tell me what you thinkWhat do you think about a little bit of gray hair on a middle-aged woman?
To each her own. Assuming you live in America, our culture looks at men and women differently. A touch of gray on a middle-aged man looks distinguished. A woman the same age with gray hair looks old. Is it fair? No, but it's the way it is.
I think the answer is to look at the overall image you want to present. If you're wearing thigh-high skirts and 8 inch F-me pumps, hit the hair dye aisle. If you're more into ankle length cotton shifts and flats, then go gray all the way. If you're somewhere in between, look in a mirror. If you like the look of a touch of gray, keep it. If it makes you feel older than you are, color it. Either way, the key is how you feel about you. Gray and confident will always be sexier than dyed and confused. What do you think about a little bit of gray hair on a middle-aged woman?
I think every one should age gracefully. I hate to see elderly women with short hair and perms. They all look alike. I think they look much nicer with their long hair, even if its pulled back. Even if their hair is thin. Makes them look much more youthful. Never get a perm. I wouldn't dye it.
What makes YOU happy
i love salt and pepper hair, i think it looks sophisticated
