You can but it could make your hair thicker and a worse consistency than normal hairdye would.
Thought you were a follicular rebel until I read more.





Dye works on non-grey as well as grey hair so should work - not too sure @ dark brown on top of ginger though!

yeah, they all claim to have grey coverage. it wouldn't make much difference. go for it!
