Why do old people who have gray hair tend to buy Buick cars?

I don't really understand why?

Does Buick give some benefits that are only available for old people? Why do old people who have gray hair tend to buy Buick cars?
Buick, Chevrolet, Pontiac, and GMC all all divisions of General Motors. In order to prevent sales of Chevy cars taking away sales from Pontiac, or something similar, they market each brand towards different people. Pontiac is marketed as the 'performance' brand. Buick is specifically aimed towards the AARP set. Plus, Buick was a very big name back in the 30s, 40s, and 50s, so a lot of people feel nostalgic about the brand name. Why do old people who have gray hair tend to buy Buick cars?
not me,i have gray hair and i drive a olds.i never owned a buick.
Maybe it's the nostalgia that comes from owning something they are familiar with in their youth.
I have the same question. I was driving down the road and saw like 10 Buicks, all driven by people with grey hair. Even my grandma's friend (who is about 75) has a Buick. It's weird. I don't know why, though.
OLD PEOPLE KICK #SS!!!

They always drive big #ss cars like Buick's and Mercury vehicles. They are like Armour. They drive them slow and turn slow...but if you hit them YOU will get messed up.
