My mother is 68yrs old. About 7yrs ago she colored her hair jet black. The grey is starting to show up but it is a ';dirty'; gray. She uses perms and have even tried products to bring out the gray. Please give her a product to bring out the gray so she can have ';salt and pepper hair';.

That is the only thing to do right now if she dyed it like black.. her gray will not come back as her natural old salt ans pepper gray..
Get a picture from a book or the internet and show the salonist ans tell her you want to moms hair color like that
there is some stuff at wal mart that will strip the black out of her hair... if it doesnt work then you shoudl take her to the salon and they will help you out
you can get the color washed out and back to the normal color as some salons. good luck!
