If it is true that stress(good or bad) causes gray hair, what is happening in the body to cause the graying?

Please,no well-intentioned answers on how to avoid or deal with stress.I'd simply like a better understanding of the biological or physiological factors happening in my body that resulting from physical and emotional stress that causes gray coloring to occur.Thanks.I'm looking forward to a salt/pepper look.If it is true that stress(good or bad) causes gray hair, what is happening in the body to cause the graying?
Stress causes more than just gray hair. It causes a lot of unwanted things, including wrinkles, so it could lead to you looking older than your age. The fundamental question is stress and not ';graying hair,'; so I think you posted your question in the wrong section, which means you'll probably not get the type of responses you're looking for.
