A few days ago I found a gray hair near the front-top of my head. It was pretty thin and fine and I pulled it out easily, thinking it was just soap or lather or something to make it appear lighter. It was actually a gray hair, a little shorter than the others and much softer.
I'm sixteen and have very thick, very curly brown hair, and have heard that stray gray hairs are common for brunettes. Could this be a sign towards premature graying, or could it be stress or just something that happens? Is it normal to have a gray hair as an adolescent?
Don't worry about it, most people get the odd stragglers regardless of age. You'll go grey when you go grey, that's if you go grey at all.
