What is the average age for people to begin getting gray hair?

Studies say that on average the white woman starts developing gray hair at 34. Most black people get it at 45+.

Gray hair in childhood is known as Premature graying or canities. Premature graying in children is usually genetically programmed -- If the parents or grandparents had premature graying, the children may follow suit.

The time and speed of gray hair onset is due in part to genetics, and early onset gray hair development can run in families. Very occasionally, a few gray hairs can develop in children as young as 8 years and yet it indicates nothing other than an early onset of the gray hair that we all develop with increasing age. Typical gray hair first develops at age 34.2 +/- 9.6 years in Caucasians while for Black people the average age of onset is 43.9 +/-10.3 years.

It all depends on your genes and stress level and stuff. Ask you dad and grandpa the same question and see what they say. It will probably be around there.
This depends on ur genes, stress levels and it can happen as young as 10 or may not happen till ur 90, ask ur parez or grandparez
I dont think there is an average age. I think it just depends on how well we take care of ourselves and such. I started getting some gray hair in my goatee at 23.
actually people get gray hair after 40 years.some people may have gray hair at their younger age.this can be due to heredity or even how much they care about their hair
I dated a guy who was going gray at 22.
