I've heard that stress, in general, can have adverse effects on the body by weakining the immune system, but can it also effectuate the growth of gray hair?鈾?Does stress really cause gray hair, or is that just an old wives tale?
Personally, I think that if this were true, I'd be silver by now. *checks* Nope, still only the three or four silver hairs I had at age 20. Dunno if this is the case for everyone though - I've a cousin who had male pattern baldness and complete graying at age 18, and a boss with white hair before he was 30. Maybe it's only true of males...lol

Seems the jury is still out, since it appears stress can be a factor though heredity/genetics/aging process are the ';primary'; causes.鈾?Does stress really cause gray hair, or is that just an old wives tale?
Yes stress can cause gray hair and too much stress can also cause tooth decay and many other problems
stress leads to decrease apetite and even taking less vitamins and nutrients required for proper hairgrowth
Gray hair is genetic. Stress causes hair loss.
I havent heard of any stress on the body causing grey hair. Stress will however cause your hair to fall out in uneven clumps.
I believe stress can cause gray hair
