Which do it yourself hair color works best for covering gray hair which was formerly dark brown?

Presently I'm using Clariol Natural Instinct med dark brown which is too dark... I would like to find a nice rich brown with more red, any suggestions?Which do it yourself hair color works best for covering gray hair which was formerly dark brown?
