He's not old and there are no changes in behaviour and his habits are the same, what could it be?My rabbit is starting to get little tuffs of gray hair own his down his back. Any ideas?
he is either moulting or he has a skin condition, if you look carefully in the fur it is probably grey underneath, if this the case then he is moulting. Pulling gently at the fur will help you to see as you will be able to see if any comes out. Brushing can also help to remove it but its totally normal.
If not then he might have a skin condition which could be caused by mites or a poor diet. if you dont think he is moulting then a check by your vet will put your mind at reast. Whatever it is it is probably easily treated,
