missing? I am tired to dye my hair, and the chemicals are awful, even in the natural hair products, what are other options? What is the best way to naturally correct gray hair, such as, is it a mineral that is depleted in the body, or
I've found some information from this webpage right here.. http://www.lifex.com/appear.html
You'll need to scroll down to where it says this: Replacing the Hair's Pigment
We all know that melanin pigment is the natural coloring factor in hair; and that it is identical in all colors of hair. The only difference between chestnut brown and platinum blond hair is the amount of melanin. With aging this amount of melanin decreases. Complete absence of it results in no color or ';white'; hair.
You can read the rest of the information when you get to that point. I hope this helps. : )What is the best way to naturally correct gray hair, such as, is it a mineral that is depleted in the body, or
There is a woman in my office, and her hair is perfectly white. It's actully stunningly beautiful. I complimented her on it and she said she was prematurely gray because she has a vitamin B12 deficiency. She also said that she takes B12 regularly, but her hair is still white.
I am 39 years old, and I found my first gray hair when I was 14. My hair is about 20 years ahead of my mother's. I used to dye it myself, but I ended up with rings, like a tree, of ever darkening hair. I had it dyed, once, at the rather steep cost of $70. So, I thought, you can either look like a fool, or you can actually be a fool, or you can go natural.
I went natural. My hair is dark, with sprinkles of silver. Sometimes I wonder if it's the right decision - particularly a few weeks ago at church when somebody asked me if I was some kids' grandmother (!). I cried. But overall, I like it. That lady had to be stupid to think I was somebody's grandmother, and I think it might have had something to do with how I was interacting with them.
Technically, I guess I could be somebody's grandmother, because I have an 18 year old daughter. But it still stung to be asked that question at my age. Most of the time people comment that they think I look young for my age, and I think I'll go with that.
If you want to colour super light hair darker, you usaully need to ';fill'; it first with a red semi permanent, then dye over that.
If you have seen some of the Lady talk shows, Martha Stewart, etc. then you have heard of the book, ';Going Grey';. You would be amazed at the women who are now dying their hair grey, even ones in their 30's and it looks good. You can have hi lites done on your hair and make it have a little more contrast, I mean grey hi lites, not red or blonde, etc. You could have the area around your face done lighter than the rest which looks good. I don't know of any minerals that work on grey hair, it is part of the ageing process and if don't want to color then just have the hi lites and a good cut that accentuates your face shape. Sometimes just a cut can make a big difference in how your hair looks. There are also rinses that wash out that you can use to see if a color is what you like. Ask your hairstylist for help in finding a cut or do the computer analysis. Good luck and God Bless, Elle
If you find the answer to this question please PU - LEEEZE let me know. Because of illness (I was taking Prednisone - a steroid) and my lovely red hair turned silver in just short of a week. There are no permanent hair coloring products on the market that will 'stick' to my hair - so I am snow white for now. My aunt also a redhead, had the same thing happen to her - she used to save the old left over cold tea and use it to rinse her hair. It did give her some color, but I personally did not like it. Hope you find something!
To check graying of hair, mix lemon juice in olive oil, beat till frothy and apply on scalp and wash off after an hour. Premature graying of hair can be postponed by using a strong decotion of black tea and a tablespoon of salt, strain and apply to the roots for 45 minutes and wash with water. Don't shampoo.
