Why do people feel like they have to hide their gray hair?

If a woman wants to dye her hair to cover the grays, I see absolutely nothing wrong with it, but I don't think they should feel as if they have to. On the other hand, I don't like for men to dye their hair at all. Have you seen the ';Just For Men'; commercials where the man with gray hair couldn't get a woman, and after he colored it, women were all over him. I think it's ridiculous. If a person can't accept the real you, you don't need that person in your life.Why do people feel like they have to hide their gray hair?
i agree, it is not neccessary 4 any one to cover up gray hair, gray hair is a symbol of wisdom. It is not that bad looking.Why do people feel like they have to hide their gray hair?
Sadly, we are a 'youth orientated' society.


On a whole we disregard anyone with gray


hair as being ';past it';. Plus, not everyone is ready to accept the gray hair. They are


trying to trick themselves into thinking they are not old if they do not have gray hair.
I have had gray hair since I was 18 years old and I am a female. I have been dying my hair for the past 10 years. I only have to dye it 2 times a year because my hair is very long and I make sure that I use 2 bottles on my hair and also I use the closest color to my natural color so you really can't tell until the gray comes back out. I color my gray only because I look 10 years older with the gray in my hair.
I have plenty of grey hair and have no plans to cover it, but I guess it's a personal choice.





I also think men look better with the salt %26amp; pepper hair!
People don't feel like they ';have'; to. They just want to. So what?
i agree, you see Richard Gere and his pretty hot for an old older guy im sure that he would have no prob getting ladies
of course..because they don't want to have those gray hairs because for them they might look old...there are also some instances that there are still young people who have gray hairs because of stress and a lot of thinking to do ..do you think they look weird if that happens to you..so of course,they'll dye it..except if people are really that old enough so they won't have to..its a fashion anyway so just mind your own business it's their choice.._c';,)
